Caught Red Handed... My wife???
According to reports, a husband who suspected his wife of infidelity has caught her red-handed in the arms of another man.
Sources revealed that the woman, who is already a few months pregnant, has been seeing her lover and having extra-marital affairs with him for a while now. The husband has reportedly been hearing the rumours of his wife's affair and decided to take action.
On this fateful day, the wife and her lover, met at their usual location (a hotel) to have their lovemaking session. The husband, at this time, got a call from his informant. He then busted into the hotel room and caught his pregnant wife in the act.
The husband reportedly took photos and started distributing them on social media.
GOOD PAY, right?
MY REAL STORY - Mercy Johnson
I am Mercy Johnson, an actress. I was born 29 years ago and I am the fourth child in a family of seven. My father is an ex-military officer and I left my mother at the age of two to live with him. Due to the nature of his job, he was constantly transferred from one station to another. I am proud of him because he taught me all I needed to know from childhood to adulthood.
Movie industry
I have grown with time and there have been good and bad times. There have been rumours and scandals. Sometimes, when I cry in movies, it wasn’t the script that made me cry. Rather, I reflect on my humble beginning and the height I’ve attained now. This makes me cry.
Journey into acting
After my secondary school education, I approached a friend for assistance to feature in a movie. He took me to the National Theatre, Lagos, but a role did not come until a year later. My first lead role was in a film titled, ‘The Maid.’ It was quite challenging to interprete because it was my first movie. When I saw the veterans on set, I fidgeted.
A star actress
Life is in phases and I cannot say I have reached the peak of my profession. I have not even won an Oscar yet! There is always a higher mountain to climb, a new vision to fulfill and I am at that point. I want to achieve new and greater dreams.
Fulfillment
The greatest fulfillment is the ability to influence people positively through my acting.
Challenges
Life is not a bed of roses; it comes with challenges which make me stronger and who I am.
Nollywood: Then and now
We have achieved feats which the old Nollywood did not achieve. It is all about progression and I am sure that in the future, Nollywood will achieve a greater feat than it is doing currently.
Relationship
My husband is loving and he is an understanding man. I am so happy to be married to him. I acted a movie, ‘Baby Oku in America’ when I was heavily pregnant and he didn’t feel bad about it. He understands that I am an actor and sometimes, we need real life situations, like the pregnancy, to interpret a role. Not many men would allow their wife do that.
Scandals
They are all lies. I just think the media needs to do their verification well before they put any story out. Whenever I read all manner of lies about me in the media, I wonder where all of these came from and regret being an actor. But in all, I move on and take it as one of the hazards of the job. I am fulfilled as an actor.
Mercy Johnson Foundation
I floated the foundation because of my love for the less privileged. One of my greatest joys is to see other people happy. I want to make lasting impact in my society. The objective is to identify the needs of the less privilege, evaluate them and help in our own little way. I strongly believe that as movie stars, we should live beyond the euphoria of stardom.
A sexy woman
It is inbuilt. It’s just how you feel about yourself. For me, being sexy is confidence. It mustn't be about the hairstyle or the accessories or the big buttocks. It’s about you, liking yourself just the way you are.
Motherhood
My husband is a wonderful man. He makes my job easier and helps carry our daughter, Purity. He feeds her and she misses him whenever he is not around. As a family, we understand one another and we make whatever adjustments we have to make in order to have a good home.
Success
The challenges I faced have yielded results and I am reaping the fruits of all my efforts. I have grown from nobody in the industry to becoming a top actress from Africa. To God be all the glory.
To be an actress
Talent is never enough you must constantly brush up your talent but training can come in different form. You only need to ensure that in whatever form, you are not just relying on your inborn talent.
Projects
There are many but I'm not permitted to disclose them yet. They will start unfolding soon.
Fear
My worst fear will be to leave this earth without making a huge impact.
Fashion
I don’t wear what is in vogue or what everybody is wearing, I just wear what suits me and I’m lucky to have a physique that encourages everything I wear. My husband is a huge critic, so when he pays compliments to my dressing, I feel so good. He doesn't believe that exposing anything makes you look better. He feels when you cover up, you look real nice.
To upcoming actors
Be yourself and let your talent speak for you. Don’t come into the industry because you want to be famous, but because you love the art of acting. Then try to appreciate those who were there before you.
Mikel Obi scores 3 points on Rita Dominic
News have been flying about on social media and everyone has been wondering if there’s actually an affair between Chelsea FC player Mikel Obi and popular actress Rita Dominic
Recently there was a photo of both of them in London. Rita was said to have run into Mikel and the two posed for a snapshot.
This got tongues wagging as to how the two could accidentally ran into each other being that many Nollywood celebrities have been in London without running into anyone let alone Mikel who has a tight schedule.
However, sources claim that the duo do not seem to be just normal friends as pictures of them hanging out in different places have been seen and it’s not just the pictures but the kind of intimacy shown in the pictures.
According to one of Mikel’s aides, he was sent to go scout for good expensive ring. He also made it clear that Mikel hasn’t been known with so many women, so all fingers point at Rita Dominic. He also flew alone to Abuja immediately after the Sunday game, and he has been sighted with Rita two times afterwards.
Recall that the actress recently claimed in an interview that the media destroyed her past relationships and would because of that not flaunt her ‘lover’ before the media at the moment.

OMG! Like seriously, Lady Gaga has got to hit the stop button! It's getting too scary! The superstar singer wore this bizarre see-through excuse of fashion as she landed in London yesterday for her performance in X-Factor UK. What makes it worse is that she walked barefoot (legs painted white), with her arms raised and she had this disturbing stare...as she walked to her hotel and greeted fans. Yvonne Nelson, Karen Igho - Wash themselves on twitter
Stunning revelations have been made today that ex-BBA contestant, Karen Igho, carried out a breast implant procedure due to lumps found in her breasts. This came from Igho’s PR team, and it is in response to derogatory remarks made by Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, on Twitter.
Karen Igho and Yvonne Nelson have last week been engaged on a heated fight on Twitter, with both of them taking jabs at themselves. But the situation reached a nadir, when Yvonne Nelson made reference to Karen’s ‘boob jobs’.
Yvonne Nelson was quoted as follows. “fake boobs, no wonder you don’t have a bf”.
In response, Igho’s team have released a press statement on the issue.
“Sometime yesterday whilst preparing for her promo photo shoot, Karen and the World PR Media camp got wind of a tweet that was sent to our client, Karen Igho.
Yvonne Nelson quoted as follows “fake boobs, no wonder you don’t have a bf”. When Karen got the alert, she made several personal gestures to clarify the position of the tweet and the tweetee, but none of the enquiries was answered and a claim of ‘handle hacking’ was implied by the Nelson camp.
Just to update the Nelson team since we can’t reach you, Karen’s resort to breast implants were as a result of lumps found and removed in her breasts. And can you also be a good role model to your own younger fans by resisting online bullying or any other type of bullying for that matter.”
Battle of boobs - Afrocandy vs Nikky
Nigerian born porn actress, Judith Mazagwu, (AfroCandy), is not happy with the way people are making ‘noise’ over the breast exposure of American singer, Nicki Minaj, claiming that she has better and bigger breasts. The 42 years old controversial actress and producer, who love basking in the limelight, bared her mind in one of her Facebook post some minutes ago.
See what AfroCandy, a mother of two grown-up daughters had to say: “Nicki Minaj bares her boobs in new photo? Na today? I been there, done that and mine are all natural, no surgery, no silicon. They all mine and if you wanna see them without the stars, go get a copy of my new movie ‘Destructive Instinct’ and enjoy your eyes. So, it’s not a biggy ok!”

Richest and Most Powerful Actresses In Nollywood(SEE LIST)
This is detailed list of the highest paid actresses in the industry in the past 12-months.
NOTE:We are talking about the highest paid actress not the richest actress.
BELOW ARE THE HIGHEST PAID NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS......
Firstly; Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde with box-office gross of N60 million. She made N24 million with Last Flight to Abuja, N6 million from Private Storm and her N30 million share in Ije bring her total earning to N60 million.
This year alone, no actress has made as much as N24 million from a single movie; Funke Akindele would have done so with The Return of Jenifa but the movie hit the box office in 2011.
Omotola, who was reported to have been paid N5 million by Tarila Thompson all in the bid to make his movie a blockbuster, has been described as the biggest box office actress of 2012. She recorded successes back to back but it remains to be seen if she can pull off the box office magic again with Amina and other movies coming in 2013.
Omotola has been an A-list actress even before Genevieve got her first big break and so what has been working for her is the wise investment in her brand. Her enduring presence and unceasing contact with her fans via the social media has made her popular even in an environment where a mother of four like her is not fashionable.
Genevieve Nnaji:
Next is Genevieve Nnaji. Love or hate her, Genny as she is fondly called, has a way with cinema audiences that make them come back again and again for her movies.
So far, Genevieve’s starring in the movies has grossed over N83 million at the box office. Mirror Boy (described by the actress as her first major film and the first to put her at the box-office) made N18 million, while Ije netted N60 million turning out to be Nigeria’s highest grossing movie ever. But Genevieve had to share the money with Omotola, who also acted alongside her. If the sharing formula is 50-50, then Genevieve gets N30 million of the total gross.
Genevieve’s next movie, Tango with Me went on to make N35 million. So, putting all the figures together, Genny remains at the head of the pack. What seem to be working for Genevieve are her enduring power, popularity and social media connection. The actress has been there for over a decade and is still waxing stronger. Her wine seems to taste better with age.
Another plus for Genny is her popularity. Genevieve is hugely popular across Africa and most especially among the youths. Before now, she has been very active on the social media especially Twitter. She even had to put up a Facebook advert after reports emerged that some acts were ahead of her there.
Funke Akindele:
Surprisingly, the third person on the list is Funke Akindele, a young lady who rose to fame in I Need To Know, a TV series, and went on to earn a monstrous fame with Jenifa.
Funke is an unlikely candidate on this list. Now, how can one explain that she is third on a list parading heavy weights like Omoni Oboli, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Stephanie Okereke among others?
So far, Funke has made over N56 million, netting over N20 million in 2012 alone. In The Return of Jenifa, Funke netted N35 million. The movie ran till February 2012. Her movie, Married but Living Single made N9.9 million while Maami made N11 million. The actress is on her way to another cinema glory with a movie, A Wish. Let’s hope she will be able to wave the magical wand again and create a box-office success.
For Funke who recently got married, the plus factor for her is her huge popularity among the masses and elites. Her movie, Jenifa cuts across all social groups with the street parlance in it becoming the mode of communication in social gathering. And as an icing on the cake, Funke has moved upscale, she is now the toast of events organized by the rich and not so rich. Her box office credibility transcends the cinema as all DVDs parading her face turn into gold.
Omoni Oboli:
Omoni Oboli, who is still largely unknown to those who don’t patronise the cinema and social media, is fourth on the list. She is a silent achiever. Before the trio of Genevieve, Omotola and Funke even dreamt of hitting the box office, Omoni Oboli already took the lead. Figurine, her first box office appearance made N13 million while her second effort, Anchor Baby made N18 million bringing her total earning to N31million.
Omoni’s strength is her exclusivity and knack for quality. It is a known fact that if the project is not big and ambitious, Omoni might not do it. The disadvantage of that is, despite her box office credibility, Omoni is still unknown in areas where there is no access to cinemas. Perhaps, that is the reason she tries to make up with the red carpet presence.
For now, the exclusivity is working for Omoni; perhaps her new movie, Broken and other works will introduce a new twist. One other thing that should not be forgotten is the unprecedented publicity of Anchor Baby in 2010. The film also had Omoni at the forefront of meeting and greeting of fans at the cinemas.
Nse Ikpe-Etim:
The fifth slot belongs to Nse Ikpe-Etim. She seems to be the latest sensation in big budget movies. In Mr and Mrs, Nse was a delight, her performance was a reference point and it was a hook that kept drawing people to the cinema while the movie was there.
Mr and Mrs made N6 million while another of her film, Phone Swap made N20 million, making a total of N26 million.
Too early for Nse to cement her place, as she hasn’t done N15 million back-to-back but one thing the actress has made clear is that she has intention of doing that. The leading four acts should be afraid of Nse because her strength lies in her pure acting talent.
Nse is born to act, deemed to be unnecessarily assertive a times, but you can’t accuse her of not knowing her lines. And she pushes her movies with virgour, moving from one cinema to the other.
However, Nse should watch it as many have accused her of being too ‘self-conscious’, a term casually used for budding stars who have ‘over-hyped’ impression of themselves as this could alienate fans who make the box-office count.
Rita Dominic and Stephanie Okereke
Rita Dominic and Stephanie Okereke should readily make the list but they haven’t appeared at the cinemas more than once. Hopefully, Rita will break into the list very soon, with The Meeting, Lion of 76 and Street of Calabar while Stephanie already had N10 million under her belt with Through the Glass.
The same cannot be said for Mercy Johnson, a very talented actress no doubt, easily one of the best in the industry but she needs to start appearing in more quality movies before she can be considered.

Scarlett Johansson is the sexiest woman alive, according to Esquire magazine. The 28-year-old beauty has made the No. 1 spot for the second time, the only woman ever to accomplish the feat. The last time she received the accolade was in 2006.
In the accompanying spread, Johansson poses seductively on a bed wearing a tank top, underwear and heels before donning a black slip
Earlier this year, the “Don Jon” actress was voted the “hottest woman alive” by movie fans. Movie Fan Central had movie lovers vote for their favorite woman, and the starlet ended up taking the top spot. Johansson is known for her great curves as well as her acting abilities. She has starred in “Match Point,” “Girl With a Pearl Earring,” “Lost in Translation,” “The Prestige” and “The Avengers,” among others, and she’s currently in “Don Jon” alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Unfortunately, Johansson is off the market. She is now engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac after dating for about 10 months. She was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds for two years before they divorced in 2010. She showed off her engagement ring last month at the 2013 Venice International Film Festival. Her rep later confirmed the union. “I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged. They haven’t chosen a date for the wedding.”
